Product Information

Below is more information about Purity Chemical's GreenLine, U.S.D.A. Bio-Preferred Products

GreenLine™ Superior Bio-Based Performance

Purity's GreenLine™ products do not contain the typical chemical compounds found in commercial and industrial cleaning and maintenance products, many of which can cause damage to our environment and its inhabitants. The GreenLine™ product line has been specifically formulated in accordance with current Federal safety regulations and with environmentally-preferable purchasing guidelines. The GreenLine™ product line is setting a new standard for Bio-based products: performance, safety, price.

Bio-based products are composed in whole or significant part of biological or renewable agricultural materials, in accordance with the 2002 Farm Bill and Executive Orders 13101 and 13134. This technology converts renewable agricultural resources, such as corn, soy, wheat, and other grains, vegetables and sugars, into an myriad of exciting new chemical products. Bio-based products have the potential to improve sustainability of our natural resources, environmental quality, and our national security, while competing economically.

Purity's armory of bio-sourced raw materials provides all of the elements required to formulate and manufacture advanced bio-based products from renewable sources such as sugar, corn, grains, and vegetables.

Mission Statement
Our mission with the raw materials and technologies used in the GreenLine™ product line is to develop and promote environmental parameters that insure safety and efficacy in for use in the environment that surrounds us.

GreenLine™ products are formulated to be:

Non-Hazardous · Non-Toxic · Non-Flammable · Non-Corrosive
· Non-Fuming: Non-Caustic · Readily Biodegradable · Little or No VOCs

Bio-based Products from the U.S. Government: The 2002 Farm Bill
Bio-based products are "commercial or industrial products (other than food or feed) that are composed in whole or in significant part of biological products or renewable domestic agricultural materials (including plant, animal, and marine materials) or forestry materials."

Section 9002 of the 2002 Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 establishes a Federal biobased products purchasing program similar to the buy-recycled program under RCRA. USDA will designate bio-based products and provide guidance for purchasing the products with bio-based content. USDA also will establish a voluntary bio-based products labeling program.

Federal agencies are required to develop affirmative procurement programs for purchasing the USDA-designated products. The Task Force and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy recommend that agencies expand their recycled content product affirmative procurement programs to include bio-based products.

Bio-based and with new cleaning technology as well...

Purity Chemical Technology presents its new GreenLine™ product line that delivers a new horizon in cleaning technology. Unlike conventional cleaning systems, Purity's GreenLine™ product offering addresses both the chemical and physical interface of the water and soil bond, readily separating each foreign compound and breaking them free to be washed away.

Many conventional cleaning applications involve the removal of a soil from a substrate under dynamic conditions (e.g. spray cabinets, spray and wipe, car washes, floor scrubbers, etc.) These applications involve a dynamic interfacial process. New interfaces are constantly being created. The rate at which the surface tension is reduced on these surfaces will play a role in the cleaning process. Studies have shown that, in general, surfactants that exhibit the quickest surface tension reduction have the best cleaning efficiency.

Dynamic Surface Tension vs. Static Surface Tension
The active agents in conventional cleaners and degreasers require time to diffuse and orientate to a surface. Many cleaners generate new surface interfaces within fractions of a second. Therefore, surface tensions measured under static or equilibrium conditions will not differentiate how cleaners will behave in dynamic applications (i.e. spray-on wipe, vehicle cleanings, etc.) Therefore, dynamic surface tension is critical in determining and understanding the kinetics of diffusion and absorption of cleaners to new interfaces. Purity's GreenLine™ products provide low surface tension using static and dynamic surface tension measurement protocols.

A benefit of the low dynamic surface tension of the GreenLine™ technology is its ability to rapidly wet the initial surface and soil to be cleaned and quickly move to new interfaces formed during the cleaning process. This can result in more effective cleaning.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

  • Used solutions can break rapidly providing waste oil recovery-no pH adjustment required.
